Report for October 2001

Hall of fame

Cec Podd

The right back who played over 500 games for the Bantams is voted into the BfB Bradford City Hall of Fame.

Employee of the month

Danny Forrest

The first team were God awful all month but bubbling under was a toung man making a big impression with Jim Jefferies. Danny Forrest is one for the future but, if he continues to progress the way he has, it will not be the distant future.

Goal of the month

Jess's first against Watford

A slick move down the right is finished off by Eoin Jess arriving late David Platt style.

On-field positive

The form of Eoin Jess and Gary Locke is the best of a bad month.

On-field negative

The fact that we have become the easiest team in the division to beat.

Off-field positive

The signing of Juanjo. The response to the "fiver to get in" scheme.

Off-field negative

Allowing Benito Carbone to leave. OK he had to go, but did he have to go to someone as poor as Derby?

Funny

The streaker against Watford who ran the field in his purple pants before mooning the away crowd.

Not funny

The rumours around Jim Jefferies either being sacked or leaving for Aberdeen.
